Jadzia's hips weren't good enough to breed from, so in 2004, K came into our lives the foundation of Clynalwin German Shepherd Dogs.

My introduction to showing came, purely by chance. A trip to the local exemption dog show with my new puppy 'Jadzia' a GSD  bought for working competitive obedience, was a real laugh.  

We entered the puppy class and she won  !  the most amazing thing was, without me even knowing how to stand her..?  what a giggle ..!  then it took off, we entered several open shows, learning as we went, and sometimes doing quite well. 

The History of Clynalwin

 I remember from a very early age always being around dogs, we then had a couple of Rescue Cross Breeds. After a trip away on holiday we returned home with yet another 'Rescued' dog she we called 'Megan' a Field Spaniel.  We found her on the Beach, no family of her own so we looked after her whilst away.The police had our number in case her family came looking, but no one came, so she came home with us at the end of the holiday! We then had 3 dogs Great !  

Our 4th came again as a stray, 'Rusty' a Springer Spaniel..   So as you can see my life was FULL of Dogs !  Megan and Rusty had 2 litters of pups, not planned, but we did the best by them and found them, great homes.. How I loved having those pups.. I was about 9 years old at the time and always thought I would eventually do it again.

We bred and exhibited Schipperkes for a short time although we did extremely well .

Crufts

Crufts was always a lucky show for us, in 2003 CH Kassalmak Warrior aka Bobby won Junior Dog, the next year he won Post Graduate, the Dog Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed.  

Two years later he won his Crowing CC also with Best of Breed. In 2008 he  won Open Dog and the Reserve CC, Clynalwin Bacchus also won his Class that year.
